The Sisters RD has used DxP as a tool for 8 years as well as other harvesting designation methods. There are some efficiencies as well as challenges that DxP presents when designating timber on NFS projects. During his presentation, Steven discussed the pros/cons of using DxP from both the presale and sale administration perspective as well as what considerations need to be made when deciding your designation method. He also shared slides of completed DxP cutting units as well as examples of cost efficiencies/inefficiencies.
